I think you need to contact a lawyer. It's a shame, but no one will take care and respect your car just as much as you will. DEALERSHIPS are the worst at not admitting damages.I worked at 3 dealerships and I know what it's all about. Sweeping the dirt under the carpet. DEALERSHIPS are more dishonest than PRIVATE GARAGES.
I feel your pain brother, i seriously hope you get JUSTICE i wanna see them go down!

As for all you guys, NEVER TRUST YOUR CAR GETTING SERVICED!!! Learn your lazy-*** selves how to Do-it-yourself. And if you you do get service WATCH EVERY EVERY DAMN SINGLE MOVE and be a *****, and never let your eyes off your car or ask that service may not be performed and tell them to **** thier mom. Protect your cars from these idiots!!!!! amen lol

Man I know how you feel, I bought a 05 trailblazer from Stedalbaur in Kitchener (GM Certified DealerShip), wow did I ever have grief. First, I went in to have the car fixed cause the rear hatch wasn't closing properly, for some reason it moved down a little (this is 2 weeks after I owned the car), I go in they look at it and say it's fine, it's suppose to close like that. I tell them no, it shouldn't grind the metal, service manager comes out and tries closing it himself. He goes to close it and can't, hes pushing so hard that paint flakes are coming out, then he opens it and closes it really hard, i hear a nice poping sound. Then, he was like whoops, we'll fix it. So, they get me a rental car (same as mine) and pay for gas and all repairs.

Anyway I get my car and start driving again everything is working fine, then me and my dad were going for a drive to pick up some parts for my project car, and my dads getting in when hes like "Wtf, your door is starting to rust?" I'm like what?! I go to the other side of the car and there it is RUST on a ****ing 2005 car, not bing, about the size of a penny but it was rust. I bring it into the dealership (I also had extended paint and rust protection warranty, this is 6 months into me owning the car), and they're like "We don't cover that, rust happens with paint chips." I kindly explain that I have a) the paint protection warranty and in it the thing clearly stats that it is covered,
b) my car is stored in a heated 2 car garage when I'm not driving it, c) how do u get a chip all the way up on the door just under the rubber that circles the window? They feed me some BS that they won't cover it and that I can pay $500 to have everything fixed. I tell them to screw themselves. I call GM, the lady tells me that she'll help me out, in the meantime I e-mail her pics of the damage and a copy of the warranty I have with them. She calls me back in 3 days and tells me that she can't do anything.

I call up my lawyer, file suit, 2 days later they contact me, BAM they pay the bill for repairs (I didn't get it fixed with them).

well there's no real update as I haven't really found a good lawyer, but if you know of one, feel free to pm me with there contact information so i can go futher with them..

otherwise i'm going to swallow the bullet and my pride and take the hit and pay another bodyshop to fix it.

but this is pretty bogus. but on the up side i guess, the owner knows that these threads exist.
which is at least helps a bit, but nevertheless, i'm still facked at the moment.
