k, i have a B16a1 (jdm) i was changing my head gasket and i heard that if you advance your intake cam by 1 tooth it will be better?
help plzzzzz

your asking a lot are you looking power in high or low rpm? and you should adjust the exaust accordingly

basically just to gain power in either top end or low....but gain never the less

adv a cam with give more throttle response and better performance at low rpm
retarding will help in high rpm either way get adjustable cam gears if you dont already have them personally i wouldnt go any more than a few degrees either way on the cam if you dont know what your doing get professional assistance with it id rather adv or retard the ignition timing hope i helped you out but if you do adjust your cams go in small incriments
