Exclamation Anyone?

I posted this where all the specs are listed but got no respons....

is there an error..or can someone explain to me whats goin on...

D15B7 1.5 16V SOHC PGM-FI 1493 102hp@5900rpm 98tq@5000rpm '92-'95 Civic DX/LX (USA) (notice how it doesn't say CX...only dx and lx)

That is the engine in my 93 CX hatch.. However, under a 92-95 civic CX..its stating it only has a 8V engine with 70 hp?????????? Mine is clearly a 16V..?

I just bought this car..possible that it's not original engine?

Yea but notice how my engine doesnt match up with the model of my civic.

I have a CX with a 16v engine. But if you look at the specs of the CX..it states a 8v engine

So if those specs are accurate..my engine isnt the original engine in my car?

k.. no. all those codes are for u.s. models.

canada hatch's came with eiter
D15B7: 1500 SOHC 16-valve, multi-port fuel injection, 100HP engine
D15Z1: 1500 SOHC 16-valve, multi-port fuel injection, 90HP VTEC-E engine
D16Z6: 1600 SOHC 16-valve, multi-port fuel injection, 125HP VTEC engine

you dont have vtec, thus, you have

D15B7: 1500 SOHC 16-valve, multi-port fuel injection, 100HP engine

where you may ask is the source of this info.... simple
Honda Motor Co. Factory Service manual.
