b16

Hey i was wondering would it be worth putting a b16 in a eg coupe or is the car 2 heavy and does any buddy know where i can get one put in for cheap if i do put it in

since your coupe is a dx, the weight shouldnt be that much of a problem.

does anyone know a good place to get a swap done and i got a question it might be stupid if i ever want to change the oil what oil filter do i use

if its an si, a B16 is ok (a properly built D16Z6 is way better for less money), if its a Dx put a integra ls in it and save the wiring job (for vtec) and get a geniune honda filter

my motor has 298 000kms on it do u think it would be safe to do a mini me or i have enough to do a b16.how much power can i get out of a mini me with out turbo

i say go with the b16. and save the wiring job its only two or three wires depending on what comp your using, theres a shop in brampton called sliptfire and there pretty god with there , and yes the b16 will pull nice in a coupe my buddys got one and he loves it but personally id put a ls bottem on the b16 head but thats just me

definitely b16 tranny, hydro LS trannies suck

wiring in vtec is no problem, the wires are already in the engine bay, just the dx engine harness doesnt continue them from the in dash harness

so which b16 are you gonna get? the second gen or first gen??? im planning to swap mines too, but i dont know if first gen ok to my ej1...

i heard gsr tranny would be better for b16

i am going with a second gen because its hydro and where can i find a good tutorial for a b16 swap i am thining of doing it my self
