Unhappy b16/b18 question

Hi guys, this is my first post and I'm relatively new to the site so I hope someone can help.

I have a eg hatch with a b18b1 in it mated to a b16 hydraulic transmission. The swap is pretty new and I'm loving how the car feels off the line and around the city. My question regards driveability on the highway. ATM when I drive in to work (which is a one hour drive) I cruise at about 120km/hour and I'm consistently between 4.5-5k rpm. I'm worried about how long my engine can sustain this kind of abuse.

I was planning on adding an intake manifold and some cam gears in the future and I'm wondering what is the best way to increase my driveability on the highway without sacrificing too much torque.

Would playing with the ECU help at all? What about somehow adjusting my fifth gear ratio? Or, will added power from the I/M & cam gears allow me to cruise comfortably under 4000 rpm.

Any input is appreciated. My car is pretty damn quick at the track but it makes a hell of a lot of vibration on the highway and I've heard N/a LS motors won't sustain those kind of rpms for very long safely.

the only thing you can really do to have lower revs at highway speed is to swap out the 5th gear with one from an LS tranny. you should rev at 4k @ 140km with it. cam gears won't do anything unless you have cams and you're dyno tuned

Thanks for the input, what kind of work would go into swapping fifth gear from an LS transmission? I was hoping I could fix my problem for about $500 or so. I plan on booking in some tuning time at a local shop to toy around with my ECU and cams and get the car running perfectly, could that have anything to do with my revs?
