alright when im driving my car and i hit vtec in 2nd gear and shift really quick in the 3rd it grinds but if i shift slowy not to fast it has no problem anyone know what this could be and how much it will cost thanks

I had a problem like this but it was the same for 3rd and 4th..In my case it was the synchronizer gears worn down and the throwout bearing was gone on mine too..

I just changed the entire gear clusters in the case for those from a crashed civic a friend of mine had as the mount tore out of his, and replaced the bearing and clutch at the same time..
