Dont really do much of your own mechanical work huh?
sohc needs only a wrench and a screwdriver to adjust valve clearance where as the dohc engine needs a special tool to tighten the locknuts while holding the valve adjustment screw. hope that cleared things up for you dude and if you need me to describe how to change your oil ill be glad to.

Later.

I know how to do a valve adjustment. I know you dont have to have a special tool to do that use a 10mm socket and a screwdriver and their you go you can do a valve adjustment. Also I was being sarcasm in my other post. And no thanks I can do my own oil change as iv done them before.
