Biggest Problem A Man Could Have With There Car!!!

Hey guys, im sorry for taking up your time but my friend has a MAJOR problem with his 1992 honda civic dx hatchback...

Well he went to the dealer and didnt know **** all about hondas... to make the story short... he bought a 92 honda civic hatchback with 190,000 kms for $4500!!!... he also put a down payment of $1000 on it... he then found out that another $2500 was added to the contract! for a "risk, servicing fee".. so he wanted his downpayment back.. they said its too late you already signed the contract!!!!... those bastards!

If anyone knows what we could do to end his contract... PLEASE PLEASE PM ME!

even if its sum illegal ... lemme know! PLEASE! this car aint worth $7000!! more like $500 in the condition its in... i know hes stupid for going with it!!

I am sure the dealer should have clearly pointed out the extra charge and if i were you i would go over carefuly what is written in the contract. Refusal to pay may possibly affect his credit so hopefully they aren;t difficult about it and he can get his money back.

If the extra 2500 wasnt in the original contract they have nullified the contract and are subject to full release of the deposit within 30 days. If the money is not returned in 30 days you can at that point enforce an interest rate by legal standard until you either recieve the money back or by the time a legal proceeding is scheduled. Alterations in price secondary to the original contract must be added in the form of a new contract or an authorized addition to it. Just review the contract he signed and make sure there are no notes that say things like *price given subject to change or *contract does not include extra servicing costs etc. If there is no mention of those things then they screwed and you will get your money back.
