Body Work

im doing some body work on my integra, i have some bare metal around the area that i was working on now and i heard that before you prime the area you should treat the bare metal? is this a correct statement? what do i use to treat it?

you can either use a metal etching primer, or an epoxy primer sealer, than you can lay down a 2k primer
