Brake Job 2000 Honda Civic EX?

Brake Job 2000 Honda Civic EX?
Never done front brakes on 2000 Civic EX--what can I expect? Do I need sockets for the caliper? allen wrenches? Hex head? Going to NY to see a friend and trying to bring simple tools to get the job done. Thanks!
