ok i am looking in to buy a used car what are the main things that i should look at when buying it

first of all check the price, then make sure there is little to no rust because rust will kill you after, then check if it was regrely maintained, and check the underbody or go to the mechanics and have them check the underbody, also have them check everything you need to have to have the car safetied. there probably is more but i cant remember.

If you are buying a used car from a Small lot - I would take it to a mechanic that you trust. But I would suggest that you look at dealer lots, I know it will cost you about 1k more but they do a full inspection of the car, they fix anything that needs to be fixed and they will give you some sort of a warranty...
