Can you put a turbo in a 99 honda civic ex ?

After reading a couple different things and hearing numberous other comments I am concerned that if i put a turbo in my civic the pistons will fry or there will be negative consequences.... Anyone with some insight is encouraged to share their knowledge with me.

Yea i would build up internals first, or do a B18 or B20 swap.

Or if you got the cash a H22 swap w/ turbo, should put you in the high 10's.

You should have no problems turboing that car. Ive had a y8 make 200+ whp on stock internal with Hondata and 300+ fully built. Sohc motors are easy and fun as hell to turbocharge. If you need any help, just ask me. Ive done plenty sohc...
