changing transmission fluid

I got a 1996 Acura Integra GS-R 5 speed. I'm trying to change the transmission fluid, but i'm not sure how to do this. I got the service manual and it says for me to check the transmission fluid while the car is on ground level? I don't know how's that possible since I got to jack the car up to get to where the oil filler plug and drain plug underneath the passenger side.

Also the plug sit sideways and I'm not sure how to fill the transmission fluid.

Here's the instructions I'm reading. Can anyone help me out here. I'm also not sure what the size of the drain plug washer I'm supposed to change. Do I need those special funnels or something...I'm not sure what their called.

i use a metal tube with a 90 degree at one end and a funnel at the other to fill it up, just fill it till it starts pouring out the fill hole.

take the drain plug out and drain all the fluid i let mine sit for a lil bit to get most of it out, when thats all done put a new washer on the drain plug and take out the fill plug, the way i fill my tanny its a lil easier than using a 90 degree funnel i take the wheel speed sensor out two 10mm bolts and it pops right out and i fill the tranny from there really easy just fill the tranny until the fluid starts to come out of the fill plugs hole and bolt everything back up and your good to go remember to plug your speed sensor back in too i forgot to when i finish my swap

Kuztom Freak has a spectacular aura aboutKuztom Freak has a spectacular aura about
jack the car up evenly enough to get underneath, drain the tranny, put the plug back in, open side plug and pour new fluid in. use a squeeze bottle and clear plastic tube - same as doing a diff on a rwd vehicle.
