It is possible to put a d16a6 engine into a '94 civic?

Yes, but it's a motor that comes from a 88-91 CRX and would be a downgrade as it only has around 108hp. You'd also only have 3 motor mounts, and would need to convert to cable transmission or use the stock one from whatever was in the 94 Civic. You'd also have issues with some of the wiring since the D16A6 motor is OBD0 and the 94 Civic is OBD1. There would also be issues with possibly the computer, axles, & shift linkage depending on what all you get with the motor. It honestly would be better for you to find you a D16Z6 engine.
