Cooling system

Can you have too small of a rad with a boosted set up?

I have a 95 honda civic and It came with one of those small half rads.
I sometimes get hot then cool, hot then cool..all my coolant levels are fine.. just replaced the headgasket, thermo, everything is fine and working..only when im on it wot i will start to overheat (needle just moves a little bit up and down) im figuring its the rad BUT im not sure.

should i upgrade to the full size rad?

like some info ASAP, thanks

do you have a working electric fan? Its funny you say it only overheats in WOT conditions. What are you considering to be overheating? 3/4's of the gauge or full? Personally i would not go to a full size rad as there are other solutions.

i have no idea what your saying... is it half anf fluctuating or 3/4 ? or what is it? Cooling systems are suppos to regulate and fluctuate some before the ect sees higher coolant temp and turns on the fan on to regulate the temperature back down to proper operating temp.
