These VW guys seem to have no problems getting there engine swapped turbo added cars appeased and then insured.
Im actully on that forum(vwvortex.com). I used to have a 1987 VW Jetta which came from factory as a 1.8 8v. I swapped in a 2L 16v motor from a passat and boosted it. I had it 100% insured. Liability, theft, fire, etc AND I was with state farm.

You wanna be legal with mods? Then get your car appraised, tell your insurence company, get butt raped by them and have a smile on your face when a cop pulls you over.

My current car is somewhat modified and I havent had 1 problem with the cops. All my mods are 100% legal. If your not sure if your mods are illigle, check this website out and do some ****in research.

ya one of my friends sir got stolen and the insurance company re payed all of the modifications on the car, gold rims, intake, lowering, subs and all they asked for was just the receipt. so he went and made a receipt for every little thing and even put in some bullshit stuff. he didn't even have crazy insurance just the basics, the insurance company gave him all of his money back.

when they found the car, they even stole his basketball shoes! LOL

if you drive a civic or Integra... expect to get pulled over.
i had a buddy that got puller over in his EF civic hatch. it was a stock single cam, not even a ZC and they searched his car LMFAO
cops are so stupid.

as for insurance companies... hmmm they are ghey! But if you live in sauga/brampton/etobicoke/toronto/scarlem/north york... expect your rates to be very high especially if its a 2 door AND you live in a high risk/high theft zone. and of course if you are a male, well thats no DUH

as for the dude in pickering... damn, whats out there to hit anyways?

No appraisal or safety check? No problem.

Be safe.

In the long run if your gonna hit show's , burnout contests, Car meets, hell even Tim Hortons between May 15 and Sept 15 ..... HAVE THE EASY TO SPOT STUFF HIDDEN!!!!
Cops are on a anti street racing mission. They see mods... they get nosey.

And...

Don't cut your springs Common sense.
