del sol alternator

My buddies del sol si d16z6 has a seized alternator. Would the alternator still work if I make the pulley spin again? Could I replace it with the alternator from EG d15, or are they not compatible? thanks

they are compatible, in terms of the alternator being seized i forget is the bearing is withing the pulley or the housing but you would need to ensure that the bearings and everything esle is in healthy state.
