e-test with swapped motor

Hello,

A friend of mine has a 93 si with a b16 motor. Will the car pass the e-test if the machine runs the test under 93 si?

thx

yes and obviously turbo cars have passed emmissions aswell, but it depends on the open or closed loop operation and usually don't even see boost pressures in the emmission dyno. Any healthy motor should pass swapped.

My B16A is healthy and I still managed to fail the idle test. There are many elements that can make you fail.

Then again my cougar failed the test at a dealership(honda mississauga)... The next day took it to Active green ross and it passed with a near-perfect score. Then again active green lets you literaly be side by side while they do the test.

Just go and test the car. If you pass then congrats. If you fail, then it's up to you what you should do.
