hey i know this is my old post. but heres a big problem

Constant idle misfire, motor shakes like crazy, and im burning mad oil.

thinkin valve seals are gone or the rings. but for the misfire..everythigns new, timing redone, valves, distrib. wires, new plugs again, everything. checked the vacuums, checked the ignitor, checked the timing...anyone have any ideas? or anyone have any experiance with a b18. and would like to help me trouble shoot the problem? Thanks.

Check the ignition timing with a timing light. It could be off a little.
Your burning a litre of oil every 1000kms? Sounds like the rings and the valve seals are shot...a leakdown test will help determine where the problem lays.

did the timing gun..Im thinkin my buddie messed up when he did the timing belt, cuz its way off in my opinion. anyone know how to adjust it a tooth? an would help with it?

in order to adjust it you need to take the belt off. I can help if you wanna come out to hamilton.
