Unhappy front end shakes when accellerating????

I need HELP!!! got a 94 accord-Vtec 4 cyl, Automatic. , I tried new CV axles as they were leaking. all suspension looks tight and tires and rims are fine,, when over speeds of 15 MPH to------- the front of the car starts to shake pretty bad, can be cruising at 60 MPH then as soon as you give it gas it starts shaking!! can put it in neutral and rev the heck out it and it's fine!!!
Also I had it up on jack stands the other day.. (actually twice now as a test)
and let the front susp' "hang" for about 15 minutes then lowered the car back down to drive it and the shake is GONE!! then it slowly comes back again!!!
I am thinking that the struts are shot. ??? and when they are "expanded" for a short time they operate fine, then as they settle agin, they are shot. Lastly, I had it up on jack stands and ran the car in gear up to 90MPH (wheels of ground) and not a single vibration!
it only happens when the suspension seems to be under a load.

does anyone have any ideas???
Yes the motor/ tranny mounts are fine, lower upper joints are fine, steering assy' is OK, sub frame bolts are secure,
But I am a bit lost on this shaking problem, can't tell exactly where it is coming from.
