hey guys i got a good deal on a h22 engine+tranny and i wanna swap it into my eg. I heard it messes up handling and other stuff? i havent been an h22 eg so i dont know..and any shops that can swap it in for good price??

that about it messing up your handling is complete BS

as long as you have some adjustable coilovers then your good

the h22 motor is about 30lbs heavier then a GSR swap so the weight difference is much at all...

if you go h22, go h2b or its pointless. h2b is where you use a b series tranny instead. but there is problems associated with that too. you can go normal h22 eg, but if i were you, i wouldn't be racing or power shifting

H2b Cost a lot of money you could jus get you h22 tranny gears carbon coated. H22 is the best STOCK swap. An h22 eg will beats any other swap in an eg stock. And its one of the cheapest swap. As for handeling you will notice a difference goin from a single cam to an h22 but between an h and a b the difference is minor.

how much would it cost to do the entire swap and where? and i can get the engine+tran for cheap i would just need axles and wiring harness mounts and stuff so how much would that be around?

the one thing I hate about the h2b swap is the fact the the hood has to be lifted in the back, here is an example on an ef

hood prop looks gangster i think. some cars pull it off very nicely, but some don't, like that eg.

yeah the hood up like that looks fuken terrible. looks like you rear ended somehting and forgot to align the hood. any chance to swap out the gear set or individual gears fomr the h22 tranny?

there is an Evolution kit that allows you to close your hood without the big gay gap. Comes complete with engine mounts, tranny mounts + the h2b adapter plate.

if your seriously looking into going h2b go for the evolution kit
