I Cant Get Into Reverse....and Feels Like It Locks Sometimes
Does Anybody Know Whats Going On From Experience... It Feels Like It Might Lock In Reverse If I Really Try To Jam It In... Are The Syncro Gone For Reverse Is It Possible To Fix ??

I have the same problem.
Is it also a non LSD tranny?

Reason: Due to a bad design the tranny doesnt get enough fluids to the 5th and Reverse gears. My tranny also grinds BAD everytime I put it in 5th gear.

Temp. Fix: Park on a small incline.....like your driveway. Then try to put the car in reverse while slowly letting it roll backwards. You will feel it go in reverse gear. ***MAY TAKE A FEW TRIES***. Once its in reverse it will not come out of gear. You have to keep letting the car roll backwards down hill. It took me a few tries but it does work.

After you do this make sure you always double clutch going to 5th gear. If you dont grind 5th you wont lose reverse.

i parked it the garage and noticed allot of fluid form the car...it was normal oil..but my oil was fine..so was my clutch fluid...was it from the tranny is that why im not getting in reverse...should i have the tranny looked at and put syncromesh fluid in?

you would know if it was gearbox oil, it smells of cat ****! really really stinks!
