headers...

i have a set of dc motorsport headers..i just noticed a crack, can it be welded shut?

i think they may be procelin...how teh hell would headers crack anyhow? :S

where's the crack?

it should be able to be welded up. just take it to some one that can tig weld

cracks right at the joint where one of teh 4 pipes connect together to teh 2 pipe connection...

some guys selling used ractive for 80 bux...itll probably cost me that much to weld anyways??

what do you guys think?

even if it did cost $80 to weld it(which i highly doubt) i'd personally get it welded instead of buying a ractive header.

crack is at the seam, where the original weld is....

i know ractives not teh best ....but are they that shitty?

Did you buy the header brand new? If so contact the manufacture of the header and tell them what happened. They should send you a brand new one back. Depends on their policy ...

if not just buy a new header. Go for something more "high" quality. SMSP or RMF are a good example of high quality headers but they do cost a pretty penny.

i wanted to grab something new but cant afford it right now...im in debt..thats why the ractives...unless someone has something else used out there...
