sounds like it could be bearings in the hubs. Is it front or back? Is the noise all the time or only when you break, or turn?

grab the top of your tire and shake it in and out, do this on both sides. it there is any play you wheel bearings could be done causing the grinding and clunking, trannys make some interesting noises when theyre on their way out too, it could be done. maybe even a motor mount is fried and letting something rub.

hmmm, dont know what to tell ya, if you jack it up and spin the wheel by hand does it make the noise? you could put it up on jack stands, start it and put it in gear so its driving in the air, if it still makes the noise go over everything with a mechanics stethescope. you should find the source of the sound then.

it could be the strut tower bar. If you put one in and its not fully bolted in the top of the shock tower will wobble, and move in and out of the bolt wholes.

It could be your upper arm/ball joint. When they goe they make a clunking noise but also like a squeaking noise also.
