Help!!! Car is hesitating while driving,
Help!!! Car is hesitating while driving, if feels as if there is a dead peddle. Seems to be idling fine when in park. Only starts to hesitate when excelerating. Cars is "bucking" abit.
Anyone know what's up?

on hondas general tune up iteams usually seem to cause of this. I have had it many times be a dirty fuel filter as it can drop fuel pressure enough to cause the hesitation to occur.
To know if your fuel pressure is not withing spec hook up a fuel pressure gauge to the fuel pressure service port. The small 10mm bolt on the banjo fitting going from the fuel filter to the engine. I am not sure what your fuel pressure spec is for thaat paticular engine, but you can find the idle spec/no regulated or regulated spec in the service manual for that paticular engine. If the fuel pressure is over spec you should not be concerned, but if it happens to be under spec you can have a in operative regulator, fuel filter, sock filter(not likely) or other components of the fuel system.
Another way to test the fuel system for injector issues is hook up a noid light to the injector p2 harness and run the car on 3 cylinders and make sure the ECU is sending a costant pattern to the injector (watch the light flashing). Also meaure to see if you have battery voltage the the plug with the key on engine off. Unplug the injector plug and put the postive lead on the power wire of the injector plug and ground it to the battery negative post. You should be reading source voltage at that point. These tests will assure you that ecu has no issues sending a signal to the injectors.
if you can get your hands on a injector test module you can also make sure your injectors are in working order. Turn the key on with the engine off and let the fuel pump prime and do this atleast twice. Cylce the injector with the module 10,20, or 50 times. Do this for every injector and every time priming the fuel pump. If all injectors are in working order you should have the same fuel pressure drop for all 4 injectors.
This covers the fuel system for the car fairly well so do these tests and post back with results. I am not sure if you have the tools to do so, but this would be a good indication that your fuel system is healthy. Ignition systems are a bit harder to go over so try fuel test first. As recommended by everyone else checking over tune up iteams would be a good idea aswell. Alot of people would just guess and throw parts at it when technically you should be finding the issue. This can save money and time!
