Help!!! My Civic Is F*cked!!!!
wats up everyone....i have checked fuses i have checked wiring but i cant seem to figure out why my cluster...., brake lights and signals dont work in my 93 eg. i can prress the four ways and they work fine but wen i brake or signal it doesnt light up at all! also my cluster doesnt work period....i checked with another cluster too and it still doesnt work...the only thing that lights up is the battery light....if any one can help it would be appreciated thanx jay.

I've just tackled this problem with my buddies car...you're having voltage spikes in the fuse box easiest solutions
Check to make sure you have the right ampage fuse
spliced wire could be spiking and weakening the current
ground like said above...
It's not battery related because all electronics would be suffering
im pretty sure it calls for a 15 fuse...i garauntee its popped
Sometimes if you have an aftermarket alarm they tap into that circuit which causes all the problems

i tried both ur ideas guys but still no luck....my whole cluster still doesnt work (rpm/speed/gas/temp) brake lights still dont work and neither do signals. i do have an aftermarket viper alarm....my sunroof works...hazards...defrost...anyone can help....this is the only thing holding my car back from cert....wen i use my alrm all the lights flash so....it may be the alarm? keep teh ideas coming ....and thanx to those who have tried to help.

Recheck fuses again, and check ones under the hood. Could be one of them. Check your alarm fuses, and also pull out your cluster and do a voltage test at the wires for the cluster, see if your getting power to them if not then you have a problem with the fuse box itself.

still need help!!!!
hey...thanx to all that have helped me out so far....i got my signals and tach and almost everything else working....but....my brake lights still dont work! i was wondering if anyone knew if the eg uses a relay for the brake lights?????
also...how would i be able to check my codes coming from my computer....my check engine light is on but i dont have the led on my ecu....all help is much appreciated....thanx jay.
