Hey Honda guru's, can I have your help?

Hi all. My wife drives a 92 civic and the rad is rotting. i have a buddy who has a rad he will give me for free, but its for a standard and my wife's car is an automatic.

will the rad fit/work on my wifes car or is it different between the standard and auto 92 civics?

thanx in advance for you help.

Simon.

the only diff between the cars is the tranny oil cooler in the bottom of the rad, the auto uses it, the manual does not, but the rad sould have it either way, so u should be fine. but first get some auto tranny fluid and run it through the cooler in the bottom of the rad, since his is manuel it was not used, and might have s*** in it, so fill the cooler then drain it first and then put it in.
Cheers
