Honda Civic issue PT2

hey guys, i made a thread previous to this one regarding a blown head so ill tell you what i did, i took the head off, replace the head gasket and exhaust manifold gasket, as well as new oil filter and like that, anyways my car no longer over heats but The Reving is still there, like the idling reving just keeps doing it. I have a theory going here you guys are gonna snipe me for this, but perhaps i tuned my car improperly if its doing this nonsence still ? id love some feed back here
