Honda CRX VTEC question. What's the difference?
I Own a '91 UK CRX VTEC. I believe it to be a EE8.
Am I right?
I want to buy parts for it, many places offer them for the same model and year but for the chassis code, EF8.
I cannot find an answer on this anywhere so what is the difference? Is the EF8 the JDM version of my car? Is my car actually an EF8?
Finally, I read somewhere that there is a difference between the exhaust systems on the EE8 and EF8, is this the only difference? Will other parts be interchangable?

im not totally sure but i think it could be the difference to a genuine japanese import or a made for other country, there are subtle differences to the engine because in japan they have a higher octane rating at fuel pumps which is why imports have more bhp, which is all lost when you use regular octane fuel. im fairly confident that parts are fully interchangable but i think you really need to phone up a jap car importer or even a main dealership to get a 100% answer
