honda element?

I am going to buy a SUV. I am seriously considering the Honda element. I have never owned a Honda before. Would appreciate any comments you have.

I don't think you can go wrong choosing a Honda , so long as it hasn't been flogged too much. They seem to be very good in trim and finish etc. always seem to be reliable too.

My bf has an element. It's a really great car. Here are the only two complaints:

1)The engine service light automatically comes on after the car hits certain mileage points. The only way to get it turned off is to take it in to a service shop. This is inconvenient and we don't think the car actually needs servicing at the every single mileage point that Honda has picked.

2)The suicide style doors get really annoying if people are riding in the back. They are hard for people in the back to get in, in a parking lot with cars next to you. You have to unbuckle your seatbelt in order for the back door to open. It's just inconvenient.

Other than that, the car is easy to drive and has tons of space!
