No spoilers. They create drag. They don't give any real down force until you are going over 100 MPH ant then only if they are adjusted to the correct angle. No big scoops. Again, they produce drag and don't help any unless they are functional and in the correct position. It is popular to put a hood scoop in the middle of the hood even though this is the worst possible place as air deflected from the front of the car misses the scoop. If you must have a hood scoop an opening near the cowl area of the windshield is much more efficient as this is a high pressure area. Similar to NASCAR scoop.Close off as many openings in the front of the car as possible. These openings catch a lot of air and cause drag. Leave only large enough areas to keep the engine at the correct operating temperature.Set the car ride height as low as possible with the front being about an inch or so lower than the rear. The air passing below the car causes drag.If the car doesn't already have them, install late model flush mounted door handles or shave the door handles completely.Install small, aerodynamic outside rear view mirrors.

Aero aides

The best thuing we found that works without being bizarre yet cool is skirts. All those other things mentioned are good too. Skirts are easily made from base molding from home improvement or purchased. The skirts work best if they are somewhat flexible and go around the sides and spoiler and extend nearly to the ground.(thats why they need to be flexible). Backing with Al and riveted to the under ridge is not all that hard. Black is best if you want toavoid being seen but ot
