How do I tell if a car needs a new transmission?
I went to check out a 1993 honda accord I am thinking of buying. However I noticed a kind of delay in "pick up" when I change my gear from park to "D4". After a few seconds the car picks up though. However if I start driving from gear "1" the pick up is normal. I was under the assumption that driving on "D4" always was ok but my friend told me D4 is only for highway. Can someone tell me if this car has a transmission issue that will need replacement? Thanks
