Is the intake manifold the same thing as the exhaust manifold?

Is the intake manifold the same thing as the exhaust manifold?
I have a 98 honda civic and i am researching a problem i have with my speedometer and alternator and eld and well i need to know if what i am readign about the intake manifold...... my mechanic told me i need another exhaust manifold.......
