Just Bought B16a Integra Need Helpppp!!!

I just grabbed a 91 integra gs w/ b16a engine and a s1 tranny, it ran fine yesterday and in the morning, but on my way home it started to sputter only between 1k - 2.5k rpms. So the check engine light came on, i drove it around the block because it only sputterd when i was at a stop so i was seeing if it would do it again, it did it twice and the power didn't seem smooth. Came on the net researched what the possible problem can be, some other people had problems with the distributor, so i checked it and it looked new, than i started it up again and the engine light was off, so i drove around and it seemed alright, so i decided to check the ecu, and i got 9 short flashes. problem is i don't know what ecu i have, so i can't find the correct code. the rev limit is only 6900 so what is that telling me? how do i find out what ecu i have? and i looked at the engine and there is a sensor that isn't plugged in, what is this telling me?

code 9 is your cylinder position sensor. which happens to be in your distributor. so go get a new one. or go to a junk yard a nab one. cause a new one from a dealer or parts store is expensive.

Thanks for the infor man, i have a FSM so i'm gonna test it tommorow and see if it is the actual sensor and not the wiring to the sensor. are all honda distributors the same? and i do have a pr4 obd0 and i want to know what effect that has on the b16a? would it run too lean? it's mated to an s1 tranny so i assume it's out of an integra xsi w/ 10.4:1 compression compared to the stock 9.4:1, could the lean air/fuel mix or a faulty distributor cause the sputtering? and what would be a good ecu to use for the b16a?

the pr4 is a non-vtec integra 1.8 computer and you should take it out immediately. you need a PR3 which is the stock computer and the best for your car.

yeah i think i'll go that route, but i'd have to change some wiring. i was lookin at a pinout comparison and i need the vtech pressure switch, a knock sensor wire to replace the p/s oil pressure switch and an o2 sensor. i assume there was no knock sensor installed, so where do i find this wire? and the vtech pressure switch? i assume the vtech solienoid is the switch he has set up and the o2 sensor? where are they located?
