My Rpm Keeps Jumping!! Help!!
#16
when you mean check your coolant what did you do? just check the level? Thats one thing you have to consider is having the cooling system full, but also that there is no air in it. remove the rad cap and run the engine with the cap off and watch for bubbles. If bubbles of air are coming out keep running the car until this has stopped and add coolant to the system while the level drops on the rad cap. All if not most of the air will be out of the system by now.
A quick way to know if the iavc is working properly altogether is to unplug the harness going to it and the rpm should increase.
try both of those quickly and get back to me.

thanks guys for all the help. Um im going to try what crazyae said tomrw when i get time. Also when i checked the coolant level i did exactly what you guys said and got the air out of the system. when i did this(while ago) there wasnt a lot of air in it. But i will try and remove the harness and see what happens. i guessing if it dont increase RMp then might as well get a whole new IAVC to end this problem.
Again guys, cant stress it enuff. THANKS for all this advice!!!
