My muffler does needs to be replaced really soon. It's all rusted and making a rattling noise. I was told by my car guy that I would have to replace it this year. I got the car last summer, so he told me to hold off until this summer, if it doesn't fall off before then.

You guys are all over this thread like a fat kid on smarties. Funny how quickly this thread got off topic.

Regarding your Q: about tires and exhaust. It really comes down to what you want in your car. If its just a grocery getter, stick with some all seasons and a used stock exhaust. If you want some performance, it'll cost you more.....but I'm sure u already know that.

IntegraGirl, do you want 2 seperate tips, one on each side of the car, like Camaro or Mustang syle, or just a dual tip muffler?

Yeah, it got abit out of control. Wasn't expecting that. But it appears there are a few people on board that's willing to help me.

I do want some performance, but at the same time want good traction when it rains. That's why I'm considering the Toyo T1R's. As for the exhaust, the whole thing is rusted and I need a new one. I don't want to buy used one. So yeah, it looks like this is gonna cost me. Thanks for your opinion.

Hey Viperoni, I want a dual tip muffler. Do you think it's possible to have that done to my car? I only have the one tip muffler.

Any local performance shop (jrp, preformance improvements, canadian tire, etc.) sells universal muffler tips. My buddy bought a replacement dual tip muffler for his Celica from PI, it was $100. Good luck.
