Is it normal? Side Airbag sign?

Hi,

I have an El 2004 premium. I do have the " Side Airbag" sign from time to time. Is it normal. I asked the Acura dealer, and he said that this is normal with Acura cars!!!

Is it true or he is just lazy enough to have it checked?

Yeah, it would seem so. I drive an Acura RL 2000 and I have the same thing. From the dealer and several mechanics thats a common problem among Acura cars
