ODB0 to OBD1 Q's

when i convert my 90 hatch to OBD1, none of the info on I have found yet says anything about alternator. will my obd1 alt. plug right into my obd0 wiring after i make the ecu swap. my idea was to get an obd1 engine harness and butcher it taking off the alt. wiring, O2 wiring and anything else ill need, then splice it onto an obd0 engine harness then throw it all in.

no you'll need another alt. i find it easier if you go with an obd-0 to obd-1 conversion harness and an obd-1 ecu re programmed without the stuff you don't need. you end up keeping all the obd-0 parts. which will save you some cash in the end
