OR the buckets are really low, the way they're supposed to be. :eyes:

I already said that is a very nice Civic... and I can appreciate all the work and $$$ that went into it... and I'm sure its the fastest thing on the road... but Honda's are so played out... who cares if they are easy to modify and cheap, I'm getting tired of seeing all these Civics with these stolen engines in them. It's time for a change.

I think it's stupid how most "Car enthusiats" flock to these Hondas and give them "maaaaaaaaaad" respect when there's a million other Civics out there exactly like it. As far as I'm concerned, getting a Honda into the 12's these days involves two things... money, and an internet connection.

Yeah you aren't supposed to be able to see over the steering wheel either.

not just hondas, all cars.

that is a clean civic, there is no doubt.

dj_jake 03-31-2005 09:34 PM

clean civic. but honestly, theres no originality in it anymore. everyone gets a civic just because their buddy tony has one too, and if they cant afford one, or if their parents give them an escort, they start doing the usual honda style bolt ons to it, wishing they could do a GSR swap too. reminds me of a freind who had a 3.8sc'd tbird in high school. very clean and well maintained, his dad was the original owner. now i bet that rwd hunk of ford could probably go pretty good with the right mods into it, but no, he sold that thing in a heartbeat, and replaced it with an EF hatch....

The problem is it's not well done. The strut bar is over the friggin power steering or brake fluid cap, that's not exactly well designed. If your trying to save weight, don't replace the front seats with $1000 C/F seats, dumb those 125lb back seats. Being "well done" is not just what parts you ADD, but how you add them and also what parts you subtract. With all that trunk bracing it makes me wonder why not just cage it?

Pretty much with any car there's not originality anymore almost everything has been done. i drive a civic and i dont think its the fastest out there it is far from it. everybody likes what they like. people should just have respect for others cars. Just cause u dont like there car doesnt mean u have to bash it of cause people will start talking in return. a lot of mustang owners hate civics for what ever reason but the thing they dont realize is that civics and mustangs are like assholes everyone has one. so they make fun of civics for thinkin there are so fast but i see jsut as many mustangs doin the same thing. if u dont like the car u dont totallt bash honda's its a pointless battle that will jsut keep goin on and pissing people off.

i would never use a racing harness with racing seats. that's a big no no with the pigs, and something u can't really hide.

3" 5 points are legal on the street. At least thats what a retired OPP officer told me.

Gino 04-03-2005 05:49 PM

Isn't a harness without a cage extremely dangerous?

fastestcivic 04-03-2005 11:26 PM

..

a harness in general is not permitted on the streets of Ontario.....
but some officers let it go some most dont..they will give u a ticket for not right seat belt watever haha

In that car, the harness instead of the factory seatbelts wouldn't be your biggest concern with the cops -

Where's the airbag that was in the original wheel ??

jdmsleeper 04-16-2005 06:39 PM

this car was done properly, it's a rare site seeing such a clean civic that looks that mint. :appl: :appl: :appl: :appl: :appl: :appl: :appl:
