Quick question on cold air intakes

I have an aem 1 piece cold air intake just sitting around, mainly because it doesn't have that bypass filter thing for the water. Would it be worth cutting the actual piping and putting one of those filters in and do you think it would still perform the same?

Alright all you have to do is a little reserach and you can find the information.

just hook ur cold air intake up...where it splits just cut the piping back a bit more and put the air bypass valve in..it will work and look fine man..did it on my buddys ef and everything is a go
