Radiator Fan Malfunctioning

hey guys, im having a problem with the radiator fan on my civic. It doesnt seem to want to start automatically, but works fine when directly connected to the battery. I just replaced the radiator core but still the fan is malfunctioning. Any ideas as to why this is happening or wat i can do to fix it? Car is a 93 civic SI with a B18C engine swap. thanks

any ideas???

Have you checked fan fuses/relays? Does your temperature gauge work?(temp. sensor).

yea ive checked one of the two relays, and the fan motor, and i think my temp gauge works since i can see the temp changes from my temp gauge inside the car. fuses have also been checked both under the hood and under the dash.
