Rear axel question?

I have a Honda Passport and was recently told that my rear axel seal is leaking. I have to take a trip tomorrow that will be all day and driving about 800 miles. What can happen while I am driving or to my vehicle? Please answer honestly and accuratly.

If it's not a bad leak you will probably be ok i'm assuming your talking about the differential housing leaking. wouldn't hurt to check the fluid level. should have a plug in it little over halfway up on the rear cover. pull the plug and if fluid is right there you'll be ok
