Rider lawn mower problem! Got new belts, and only dose one speed?

Rider lawn mower problem! Got new belts, and only dose one speed?

i need some hep i have a engines and power class, and we brought in lawn mowers, this lawn mower i have its 7 speeds and its prety nice besides its been treated like . and i put new belts on it i thought that might fix the problem with it sliping a littla nd that might mess up the speed. well. i'm not sure what the problem is. i put it in first gos at one speed and put it in 7th gos in same ****ing speed. wel.. would it be a gear box or something? if anyone knows problem please help. and what owuld it cost to fix.

Sound like you transmision in the rear end is stuck. You should try opening it up, sometimes it sticks in their with all the dirt an dry oil. And try spraying it with chain lube
