i have a 1989 honda prelude 4ws i recently bought it. the owner said it needs a new cv axle but i dont remember which side, what is a good way to find out which side needs fixing without having to ask the previous owner? oh and the steering is also hard do i need a new steering pump? any advice is appreciated thank you

listen to what side a noise is coming from if the cv axle is not in good condition you will hear the berrings

...Try checking the "CV boots"..usually the boots get worn&torn..dirt gets inside and the CV joints go to hell....
