Skunk2 Intake Manifold - !!!PROBLEM!!!
hey guys just installed a sick skunk2 intake manifold but im having a problem with it.
I will start the car and it idles perfectly fine, then when i go to take it for a drive and give it a bit of gas i can hear a low grumbling grinding noise.. what would that be.. here are a couple pics with some info on what i have done.
^^ this photo is of the throttle cable bracket plate i made up.. kinda sketchy but it does work and the cable is not getting caught when throttle is pressed
^^ i plugged the hose that goes to the first nipple of the iacv. would that be my problem??--> reason: .. i forget... for something tho
the hose im touching use to plug into the other side of the manifold.. (right side) (i also blocked that nipple off over on the right side beacuse with my civic i didnt need to use that nipple)
this is a straight above shot.. thats the main coolant artery on the manifold and there use to be 3 prongs on the stock honda manifold, this one came with only two. (the 3rd hose would have ran to the next pic.. the bottom of the throttle body)
this is the bottom of the throttle body. since there wasnt another coolant nipple coming from the main artery i have had to loop the two nipples under the throttle body with a hose. should i have done that?/??
please post all comments.. need some help here FAST
