you can buy a spray can of the tint stuff for them, just make sure you apply even coats or they'll look like crap when they light up

It's 'Niteshades' by VHT (spelling may be different). Don't make them too dark or the semi tractor behind you may be in your lap. Brake lights are bright for a reason. Being cool is not better than being dead.
