so, i'm looking at a few different options right now.....

maybe a ground control coilover kit w/ custom spring rates...
maybe just some drag springs....
maybe picking up a set of cheapie ebay coilovers, using those sleeves and ordering some eibach drag springs (so i can adjust ride height)...
maybe those neuspeed springs (depending on spring rate)...

i'm trying to judge it on $$ amount and reliability.... it's not a problem for me to install whichever suspension setup at the start of the season and then leave it on for a month or 2

few things i'm wondering about tho....
i like the idea of coilovers so i can bump the ride height back up at the end of the race day, but will cheapie coilovers seize up on me? will ground control coilovers seize up on me too? will cheapies break/give me lots of hassle?

opinions anyone? (without the smack talking please)

well coliovers the cheap ones would probly be fine. but why wound you not just wait and get like sport suspension, the BLISTEIN ground control ones are like 400$ (http://www.optionsauto.com/products.asp?dept=3863) and then EIBACH DRAG LAUNCH KIT springs are only 277$ you can go to this site for more prices http://www.optionsauto.com/ but its up to you, you could get springs to have the car in between stock and dont lower it too much hope it help

IntegraMark has a spectacular aura aboutIntegraMark has a spectacular aura about
if you're on a budget, Omni Power has sleeve coilovers. and you can get them in 8k, 10k, and 12k spring rates. it's worth looking into. if you can afford 1,000 you can get the full coilover(non adjustable dampening), again with stiffer spring rates.

a buddy of mine is actually gonna give me a set of coilovers
i think the spring rates are 350-500 or 400-600.... something like that

so.... i'll just use the stiffer springs in the back
hopefully this year i'll be able to pick up a decent beater and won't have to drive the car to work anymore

so.... i'll try this whole setup and let you guys know how i do....

i've been running Falken Azenis tires for the last 2 years and have only been able to hit a high 2.2 60ft
i just ordered a set of M&H street/strip tires.... look to be similar to an ET Street tire (hopefully)

my question is, how do i improve my suspension in order to get better 60ft times??

i keep tearing my bushings, so i'm throwing in some urethane ones, i'm going to get a traction bar fabricated.... i'd like to keep the ride height stock if at all possible
i'm still pretty new to drag racing, haven't had many track days so any advice would be appreciated

thanks!!!
I know its a bit off topic but,
just wondering what times you run with the h22? I was told like mid 13s

well, that's what i'm hoping for this year.... mid 13's or better
but if i can hit anything below 13.4 i'll do a dance down the track LOL

i've only ever done 1/8th mile tracks cause i live up in Sudbury and there isn't any 1/4 mile tracks anywhere close by

i've only had a few tracks days, so i'm still pretty new to the whole thing and learning more about my car each run
the best time i had was a low 9.4 sec @ about 78 MPH (1/8th mile), which is about a 14 sec 1/4 run.... which isn't anything to brag about
mind you i was running with street tires that just didn't want to hook last year.... i was smoking them 100 feet down the track and the best 60 foot time i hit was a 2.3

so, this year i'm going to both 1/8th and 1/4 mile events.... i'm hoping to at least hit 8.8 in the 1/8th and at least break an 80-85 MPH trap speed.... if not better times, hopefully a mid 8 sec 1/8th would be good
