What do I do? (serious answers only please)?

So a few days ago, i was in the parking lot at school and i was backing up. There were people walking towards me so I was trying to get out of there way. I then realized that I was going to bump a car behind me so I hit the brakes. It bumped so little that the person in the car didnt even feel it, she didn't even notice. A few people saw this and came over to me. We all looked at the car and there was not a single scratch. I barely hit it at all it was so close to nothing that it was almost nothing. I didnt know whose car it was and I didnt have anything to write a note with and the people around me just told me it was no big deal and to just leave. So I did but then I felt really guilty and went back and the car was not there. What do I do? Can I just leave it the way it is?

Well if you see the car again explain what happen in a not. Try to put the date and when it happened like after school, Before school. Whenever. Also if you see someone getting in/out go up in person and apologize.
