Nice trurbo shity price

B16A2 11-22-2005 11:33 AM

that thing is huge.. you weuldnt get much boost till around 5000-6000 rpm.. if your lookin for 500-600 HP for track use only.. get it.. for a more streetable 350-450 wheel HP, go with a t3/t4e with .60-.63 a/r's and you'll be seeing boost alot quicker...

BOOSTED_ITR 11-22-2005 05:47 PM

^^^i am looking for streetable 600-700whp turbo that will spool up quicly...what choices do i have???

T3/T4 hybrid would be my suggestion. I'm thinking about buying one for my new rabbit engine. But it really depends on what engine you are using. I used a T3 on my old rabbit, and it was good for 384 hp and 396 ft lbs on a 2l. A T3/T4 hybrid should be good for at least 500+. A straight T4 would be a bit of overkill on a 4 cyl, unless it's at least 2.4l, and has a huge flow rate on the heads. Even then, the lag would be frustrating, unless you put a dry shot on it. And then you've got nos issues... and it gets better from there.

Is it possible to actually get a 600-700WHP FWD Honda that is actually street friendly??? I dont use the term "streetable" because too many people put that term loosely. Not trying to flame here... just curious.

I know someone with a 700whp ITR (street legal and daily driven, well it was before it was sold), and I am 99% sure he used a 67mm turbo.

I'm sure he detuned it (ie. lower boost) to drive it on the street. I just cannot fathom how a 700HP FWD Honda could be a reasonable or even streetable daily driver.
Got any pics of this 700hp daily driver? Specs?

Of course boost was lowered for the street, just like pretty much every FI car.

OK, so I was right. I do know several guys with Mustangs, Camaros and Vettes that make 500-700RWHP that drive em daily without needing to detune. You cant do that in a Honda.

building a 700whp honda is alot of work
whats your engine setup booted itr?
unless you plan on runing c16 i doult you will be runing 700 whp on the street
iam runing a gt35R with special trim in it iam expecting 600whp iam basicly runing the same setup criss tapp was runing in is civic he did hit 600+ but on c16 and alot of tuning time it is doable but once you get to a certain point the extra 100+whp
is just going to be stress on your engine and will not realy net you faster 1/4 time
on street tire enny thing over 400whp is totaly useless

BOOSTED_ITR 01-30-2006 10:22 AM

^^^ nah i didin't get that turbo, got something different and way btter than that:D....car will be done by the summer.
