what honda model is best for street raceing?
Really depends on your bankroll and what style driving you're looking into. Your high-end NSX and S2000 models are going to be pricy, but they're going to be much better platforms to start off with. For lighter, more tuner-oriented racing, your Civic/CRX platform is a solid choice. I drive a '97 del Sol and couldn't be happier.
Wow you must a be young person street racing is that cool still or mainstream? Look I been street racing since 2001 and I stop after people I know where getting hurt, into trouble, cars being beaten with a baseball bat its not all fun and games serious street racing is dangerous and people behind aren't to nice to the import guys. Ok now you street racing I'm pretty sure where you live its cool taking out moms geo, but racing is a skill. Take if off the street and to the track. After a pass you get a time slip and you could show it to everyone instead of saying your the fastest. For car I would say to race a 1/4 1988 CRX HF weighs around 1800lbs gutted put a cage for safely and don't forget brakes and suspension. Also 1992-1995 Civic hatchback CX VX are light and good their OBD-1 with theres alot of free software for that model ECU engines
